ExxonMobil volunteers participated in the charity spring run “Sports for Good Cause”

On Saturday, May 25, 2019, early in the sunny morning, the ExxonMobil volunteer team came together again on the paths of Izmailovsky Park to participate in the charity run “Sports for Good Cause”, organized by the Charity Foundation “Love Syndrome” to support people with Down’s Syndrome.

On that day, 28 people – company employees and their family members, as well as their close friends spent the weekend for benefit, good health and pleasure, participating in the corporate relay race, 3, 5, 10 and 20 kilometer runs, or simply supporting fellow runners.

ExxonMobil acted as the general partner of the charity run on May 25, which became one of the most massive in the history of the Foundation and brought together about 1,000 people who simultaneously participated in runs organized in five Russian cities. ExxonMobil Russia Inc. has been collaborating with the Foundation for over nine years, supporting the Foundation’s educational, creative and other programs designed for people with Down’s syndrome. Volunteers of the company are also very enthusiastic about participating in a variety of “Sports for Good Cause” events promoting active involvement of people with Down’s syndrome in the social life and increasing attention to the importance of their development and social integration. ExxonMobil team was pleased to participate in such a kind, happy and active event.
